From field to glass

An upcycling story for your menu.

Cáscara is the skin of the coffee cherry, long a by-product. Around 360 organic farmers in Peru turn it into a fruity-fine concentrate.

What sets us apart.

We build the cáscara supply chain from the ground up for the European market: at origin, sustainably and EU-compliant.

Processed at origin

We start right in Peru, not first in Germany, for a fresh, seamless and traceable supply chain.

Energy-efficient drying

Mobile drying powered by rice-husk pellets cuts energy use by around 90% and moves with the harvest windows.

EU-compliant from day one

Novel Food approved and built from the start for traceability and deforestation-free sourcing (EUDR).

Lab-tested quality

A homogeneous concentrate with consistent, lab-confirmed quality, batch after batch.

Real upcycling

A residue that would otherwise release methane and contaminated runoff becomes a valuable ingredient.

The ready-to-dose concentrate makes around 200 servings per bottle (1 kg), about one pump (~5 g) per glass. Adjust the guideline to taste and drink.
Yes, the caffeine comes naturally from the coffee cherry; no synthetic additives. One glass with 1 pump (~5 g) contains around 38 mg of caffeine, about as much as a glass of cola (330 ml) and well under a cup of filter coffee. Good to know: drinks mixed and served openly in the glass (non-prepacked) are not subject to caffeine labelling; only allergen information is mandatory.
The concentrate is sugar-free. Ingredients: cáscara extract, sweeteners (sucralose, acesulfame K), citric acid and flavouring. Why sweeteners instead of sugar? To keep the concentrate compact and highly productive (sweetened with sugar, the same ~200 servings would need several times the volume), and because more and more guests deliberately order low-sugar: full flavour without the sugar calories.
Yes. 1 pump (~5 g) per 200 ml equals around 25 pumps (125 g) for a 5-litre dispenser. The opened bottle keeps for several weeks without refrigeration.
Unopened, the best-before date is 2 years. After opening, the bottle keeps for several weeks unrefrigerated at room temperature; refrigerated, it keeps for around 3 months.
Samples are usually available at short notice. Wholesale pricing is at most €80 per bottle (1 kg); that is the ~€0.40 per drink you see in the calculator. Volume tiers take it lower; the no-obligation price list with all tiers comes with every sample.
Cáscara has been approved in the EU as a food (Novel Food) since 2022. The raw material is organic-certified; organic certification of the finished product is in progress; the product itself does not carry an organic seal yet.
